The  School was started in 1996 by the Kenya Tea Growers Association (KTGA) through the initiative of the second President of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Daniel Arap Moi as part of his strategy to expand educational facilities for the girl-child.

    It now looks great, Moi Tea is actually a top school, romours has it that they coukd be #3 nationally this year. Perhaps you could talk with the head teacher for more accurate information, am sure she will glad to share.\
